Institute of general

    云南省生态农业研究所,1995年以前为隶属于省教委的科研机构,根据1995年国家有关文件精神于1996年与省教委脱钩,注册为集体所有制企业。研究所注册资金400万元,现有员工82人,其中研究员和教授8人,高级农艺师15人,博士16人,硕士20,本科生23人。为使技术得到更快更好的发展,突出研究所的技术深入研究、开发职能,1999年成立下属机构昆明那氏生态农业研究示范中心,专门从事GPIT技术系列产品的市场运作及推广工作。

    研究所在20世纪80年代末期就将生态农业的核心“光合作用效率问题和人工可调控问题”作为重大课题作为研究方向,通过锲而不舍的努力,1994年拥有完全知识产权的GPIT技术基本定型,1999年开始将GPIT技术全面推向市场。

   1999年9月,中国农业科学院、农业部、北京农业科学院等机构的9名知名专家成员组成的评议组对GPIT进行评审认为,这项技术属于世界领先水平。

据云南省科技情报研究所通过国际联机、光盘数据库及手工检索,此项研究成果海内外尚无文献报道。

    GPIT技术的重大创新性突破,引起了社会各界的关注,目前国内已有二十多种报刊杂志先后发表文章和报道近百篇,中央电视台一套、二套、四套、七套都播放了新闻或专题,国外也有报纸作了详实报道。2002年GPIT技术顺利通过由农业部主持的科技成果鉴定,认为技术总体达到了国内同类研究的领先水平。由于GPIT实现了以光合效率大幅度提高为主的系列重大技术突破,在多领域体现出了很高的深入研发价值,朝鲜国家农业科学院、北京林科院、陕西省土肥站、武警总队后勤部、湖北恩施国家南方马玲薯研究中心、河南农业大学、新疆温宿县农业局、山西运城市科协、云南省杜鹃花研究所等国内外知名院所正与我所形成紧密合作关系,展开不同领域的全面合作。   

    为使GPIT技术这一高科技尽快转化成现实生产力,我所积极发展对外合作关系,从更广泛的领域、更多的技术层面造福社会。


Introduction of Yunnan Eco-Agricultural Research Institute

Yunnan Eco-Agricultural Research Institute is a part of the Yunnan Educational Committee before 1995 when we were decoupled and registered as a collective enterprise, which is in accordance with the new State regulations. The institute registered capital is 4 million Yuan, there is existing staff of 62 people, including researchers and professors 3, senior agronomist 2, Dr 1, master 1, undergraduate 28 people, specialists and school 7, and technical workers 20 people.

Plant Gene Phenotype Induction Technique (GPIT) is an eco-agriculture new technology initiated by Yunnan Eco-Agricultural Research Institute. It is to solve the agricultural high efficiency and sustainable development series problem from the source, ingenuity using theories of traditional Chinese medicine, exploration and development potential of life with the Chinese herbal medicine resource, significantly increased photosynthetic rate and stress resistance, increase agricultural production and to promote ecological harmony. In September 1999, by the experts' evaluation in Beijing, the GPIT was rated as world-leading technology. On December 28, 2002, after the State Department of Agriculture Organization expert testimony, NaS 778 composite biological agents are considered as "overall reached the domestic leading level in similar researches."

Since its first success in 1995, following more than 20 years, the GPIT technology in agricultural research and production not only has achieved remarkable effect, also has created many miracles, it has excellent prospect for development.

The basic research directions of our institute are as follow: “to improve crop resistance and photosynthetic efficiency”, “artificial controlling technique of crop growth and development”, “the change of information perception and kinetic mechanism make a variation in phenotypic expression in plant, this variation can accumulative increase and then partially inherit, and finally enhance the expression to create new germplasm "and so on. In the process of research and explore about the “NaS 778 composite biological agents, there are always new technological breakthroughs and new achievements. Such as:

1. Constantly break through the corn planted forbidden area in Zhongdian, Lhasa and Shigatse;

2. Created the record of Chinese winter tea harvest at the New Year's Day;

3. Successfully make open field cultured Indica-japonica hybrid rice, sweet sorghum, colored cotton and C. ficifolia overwintering and regeneration in Kunming;

4. Cultivated several new materials as follow: yellow maize and black maize with saline-alkali tolerance; red and black sweet corn, black rice, purple Brassica chinensis with medicinal value; early maturing rice with large panicle; large panicle wheat, early-maturing pear with good quality, and so on.

5. Invent the method of quickly kill elderly caterpillars and many visible insects with no pesticide.

6. Found the new way to prevent and control several disease (such as rice blast, bacterial blight, yellow blight, root rot, root tumor, potato late blight, viruses, virus, ...and so on) with no pesticide. And speculate that it related to its prevention and controlling of animal disease such as avian flu, viral myocarditis.

7. Advance a theory of “Animal and plant have similar resistance mechanism in profound level”.

8. Completed a State "five-year plan" key project "Chinese herbal medicine against avian influenza" in 2006, through the joint acceptance of science and technology Ministry and the Ministry of Agriculture.

After five years of study, in 2008, we successfully created a new germplasm of purple root water hyacinth. And proved it breakthrough the world significant challenge in control cyanobacteria bloom and nitrogen pollution of water body. And we also got a major breakthrough in control water toxic arsenic pollution. Nearly eight years of trial and practice proved that the purple root water hyacinth and its rational management technology is an important new way of China biotechnology to cure the endogenous vicious circle contaminated by cyanobacteria, also is the best way of biological control arsenic drinking water.
